2009-2011: "Kinetic", about Kinetic controller driven adaptive and dynamic music composition systems.
2007-?: "DIGITÓPIA", about generalized access to electronic music creation. At Casa da Música, in Porto.
2006-?: "Groove", about human perception and modeling of music groove.
2005-2007: S2S², about Sound and Music Computing
research, project aiming at bringing together the state-of-the-art research in the sound domain and
in the proper combination of human sciences, technological research and neuropsychological sciences that relates to sound and sense.
2004-2006: SIMAC,
about "Semantic Interaction with Music Audio Contents," i.e. automatic generation of semantic descriptors from music audio signals and
development of prototypes for music exploration, recommendation, and retrieval. 2001-2004:
CUIDADO,
about the description of sound and music contents and development of applications targeted to different types of sounds
(isolated sound samples, loops and music tracks). Focus on MPEG-7 standard.
